Total Specific Solutions has reached an agreement to acquire Van Brug Software, Dataplaza and NotarisID from the current shareholders. Through this transaction, Total Specific Solutions enters the market for notary business software and Van Brug Software gains extra force to further strengthen their unique position in the notary market.
Van Brug Software: Market leader with a strong starting point for future growth
Van Brug Software B.V., founded in 1985, is a full-service organization that specializes in the development, sales, implementation and support of end-to-end business software for the notary market. For many years Van Brug Software has grown autonomously. It delivers, among others, the Notary Information System, which is a very functional comprehensive solution for notary services. Van Brug Software has a market share of over 50% and is the undisputed market leader in this segment.
Robert Heinen, current director of Van Brug Software, founded Dataplaza and Notaris ID. "We strongly believe that each Dutch citizen should be able to operate safely on the internet and have control over their own data." Based on this vision, he has built Van Brug Software over the years to what it is today. With the new concepts that have been introduced over the past years, Van Brug Software aims to offer the office of notary the right legal security for conducting legal business digitally.
A logical expansion of the Total Specific Solutions' portfolio
Total Specific Solutions is currently active in three verticals: (local) government, healthcare and finance. As part of Constellation Software Inc. TSS actively searches for new companies that will strengthen their position in current verticals or offer entry points into new verticals, nationally as well as internationally. With the acquisition of Van Brug Software, Dataplaza and NotarisID TSS enters a new market. Ramon Zanders, general manager at TSS, is pleased with the new addition to the group: "As Vertical Market Software supplier we believe in market expertise. This is the starting point to help our clients with the specific challenges they face. We are organized into independent business units based on the unique client segments. The coming period
After the acquisition, Van Brug Software will continue to serve their clients and will also realize the growth ambitions of the companies. TSS will support management with the development and rollout of the Dataplaza products and NotarisID in the notary vertical as well as other markets where NotarisID can be of importance. And TSS, in collaboration with Van Brug Software, will explore and shape the opportunities to expand nationally and internationally.
