    Job descriptionOur M&A team is looking for a graduate or young professional to further accelerate our business in Belgium and the Netherlands.

    To strengthen our company portfolio, we are looking for a Business Development Specialist to identify prospects in Belgium and The Netherlands.

    As a Business Development Specialist, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the pre-acquisition business activities and grow our company portfolio in Belgium and The Netherlands. You will represent the first contact in the acquisition process: finds and reach out to companies from the software sector.

    Activities will include both initiating contact (via email, phone, or otherwise) with potential targets as well as supporting target account management in order to ensure the market is sufficiently covered.

    Together with your colleagues in the M&A team you map and analyze the Belgian and Dutch vertical market software markets, you will search, identify and contact valuable M&A prospects who have built an attractive business, increasing the M&A pipeline for the long term.

    In close cooperation with the General Manager and Managing Directors, you will build a relationship with the prospect. The Business Development Specialist is supportive of a broader M&A team. The person will be based in the Netherlands initially in Eindhoven but could be partly home-based (as experience grows).

    The ideal candidate is representative and has excellent Flemish or Dutch and English communication skills,  a fair degree of financial literacy, and strong analytical skills. You feel comfortable conversing with experienced entrepreneurs and target company managing directors. We seek someone who is entrepreneurial and proactive in their mindset, yet also methodological in their approach.

    The job

    • Grow our M&A prospect database in Belgium and The Netherlands by identifying vertical market software (VMS) businesses meeting our acquisition criteria.

    • Initiate outbound prospecting calls, email, and social media communication to identify and connect with new target companies in Belgium and The Netherlands.

    • Visit trade shows and industry events in order to initiate contacts with prospective targets.

    • Use Marketing and CRM data to build and maintain existing relationships with key stakeholders.

    • Follow up on outbound and inbound prospect activities in a timely manner.

    • Conduct first-line interactions with the company (primarily by telephone and face to face in the future), in order to qualify potential targets.

    • Document meetings/ interactions in the form of notes, interactions and administer efforts in Salesforce (our CRM system).


    Qualifications

    • Independent & proactive worker, who can also work in a team.

    • Interest in and knowledge of IT and software.

    • Ability to work on targets and

    • Able to write professional English and Dutch/Flemish e-mails and good telephone skills.

    • Eagerness to learn.

    Requirements

    • Flemish or Dutch as native and fluent in English.

    Kernverantwoordelijkheden

    Vos missions

    • Développer des connaissances approfondies du marché des sociétés éditrices de logiciels ;

    • Initier des appels, e-mails ou tout autre moyen de communication afin de prendre contact avec les entreprises cibles ;

    • Qualifier les sociétés cibles et se former sa propre opinion, la décision « go/no-go » sera ensuite prise en concertation avec le reste de l’équipe ;

    • Analyser et comprendre les informations fournies par les sociétés cibles pour ensuite les intégrer à la valorisation des sociétés (modèles de DCF) ;

    • Préparer la lettre d’intention (LOI) avec les autres membres de l’équipe ;

    The ambition of TSS to grow nationally and internationally has led to the formation of local M&A teams in the past three years. Although other CSI operating groups also have shareholdings in Europe, TSS is considered to be the platform for the European ambition of CSI.

    As part of its international M&A ambition, TSS aims to expand its M&A presence in other European markets, including Germany, France, Italy, and Spain.

    Therefore, the company is looking for an entrepreneurial individual who will join the TSS offices in Germany as Legal Counsel M&A to oversee the M&A transactions and businesses there. The acquisition size will mainly be between €2 Mio and €200 Mio of company turnover.

    As Legal Counsel M&A you will:

    We are looking for a Business Development Specialist

    To broaden our company portfolio, we are looking for a Business Development Specialist to identify prospects in GERMANY. The Business Development Specialist represents the front-end of the acquisition process: mapping and analyzing the German vertical software market, extending the pipeline of qualified M&A leads and getting in contact with prospects. Activities will include both initiating contact (via email, phone or otherwise) with potential targets as well as supporting target account management in order to ensure the market is sufficiently covered.

    The Business Development Specialist is supportive of the broader M&A team based in Utrecht, Netherlands. The person will be based in the Netherlands initially, but there would be (if required) opportunities to migrate into the native region in the future to the extent desired by the candidate.

    The ideal candidate is representative and has excellent English and German communication skills, has a fair degree of financial literacy (can read P&Ls , balance sheets and understand revenue components) and be comfortable conversing with experienced entrepreneurs and target company managing directors.
