  • Total Specific Solutions expands its position in Sweden with the acquisition of Pulsen Retail AB Pulsen Retail AB is a vertical market software company focusing on the retail sector in Sweden. With this acquisition, TSS further expands its foothold in Sweden, where Infoflex, FDT, and Ping Pong are already part of the group. And it is the ninth company within TSS that has dedicated retail solutions.

Pulsen Retail AB has Harmoney, a fully integrated end-to-end retail ERP system that enables customers to track inventory, orders, and sales at warehouses, retail stores, and web platforms. Harmoney offers a multichannel solution to its clients who are primarily in fashion retail but not exclusively. Other examples of companies that use the Harmoney retail solution are publishing and media groups, sport and apparel stores, home accessories, and more.

Jonus Bartholdson, CEO of the Pulsen Group: “Pulsen Retail has been part of the Pulsen Group, a family-owned group that creates long-term value with digital solutions, services, and innovation in cooperation with customers and partners. We have identified a need for Pulsen Retail to enter a larger retail context, and in TSS, we have found a lot of industry-specific expertise that will benefit the company. They also have the ‘Software for Life’ principle, which corresponds well with our own long-term view on good business relationships. We feel safe in the knowledge that TSS will take good care of Pulsen Retail, its employees, clients, and partners and develop the company to its full potential.“

Rob van der Salm, General Manager at TSS: “We are very proud to welcome Pulsen Retail AB to TSS. Now, we have a second Swedish company next to FDT in the retail industry in Sweden. As TSS, we can share all our best practices on running a successful VMS company. We have many software companies in the retail sector that can exchange knowledge, but only FDT and Pulsen Retail know the Swedish market with its particularities. The Pulsen Retail ERP helps clients with their sustainability and logistical demands, using AI and automation. They also offer additional consultancy services to their clients. This means that they are close to their market, and we look forward to Pulsen sharing their insights with us. So, we welcome the Pulsen Retail division to TSS. And together with Katarina Hökfors of FDT, we can further strengthen our position in the Swedish retail market.

    About Pulsen

  • Total Specific Solutions expands its position in France with the acquisition of Tribofilm Tribofilm, a company that delivers Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for leading manufacturing customers and local governments in France, has joined Total Specific Solutions (TSS). This is the seventh company in France to join the European VMS group.

CMMS solutions provide daily assistance to the maintenance service staff in their job to sustain the infrastructure in the best possible way. Tribofilm has over 25 years of experience in this domain, and its portfolio includes Progilub, one of the first in lubrication management software solutions, and Mainti4, a maintenance management solution. Their suite consists of made-to-measure modules and applications that are fully adaptable to the customers’ needs, internal structures, and the IT equipment. Tribofilm is active in local government and several industrial sectors, from small local authorities to large corporations.

Dorinda van Oosten, General Manager at TSS: “We are very proud to welcome Tribofilm to TSS in France. Not only do we expand our foothold in France, but with Tribofilm joining, we extend our presence in the local government sector and such markets as construction and automotive. Furthermore, we expand our knowledge of maintenance management systems (CMMS) that we already have within Alteva, which is part of Salvia Developpement. Tribofilm has shown impressive growth, which is mainly driven by its high-quality Software as a Service solution (SaaS). And we believe that Mr. Emmanuel Le Meur has placed the company in a good position to continue this growth in France and the other countries where Tribofilm is already active. I am looking forward to entering the next phase of the company with the new Managing Director, Clément Bossis. Clément has been the Sales Director at Tribofilm, and he has in-depth knowledge of the markets, customers, and products. We are very pleased to support Tribofilm in the next phase of their journey.”

Emmanuel Le Meur, owner and previous CEO of Tribofilm: “My father founded this company, and over the years, we developed a strong software portfolio of which I am very proud. I am ready to pass the baton, and we were looking for a partner that could support Tribofilm’s growth. As we are a family company, it was also very important that Tribofilm would continue for our clients and employees. So, the buy-and-hold-forever strategy of TSS was a decisive factor for us. Now, I am proud to hand the baton to Clément Bossis so he and his team can run Tribofilm as an independent business unit of TSS.

Clément Bossis, Managing Director of Tribofilm: “I have worked for Tribofilm for the past seven years, developing high-quality, made-to-measure CMMS software. Being part of TSS will give us access to knowledge from over 3,000 new colleagues and give us the opportunity to share our best practices with them. I am looking forward to guiding Tribofilm into this new phase of our future.”
